Offers a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Film with concentrations in Film Production, Film Studies, Screenwriting or Film Marketing. The B.A. program may be completed in 4 years. Students who wish to focus on filmmaking exclusively may take the 30-credit Certificate Program in Film with a concentration in Film Production or Screenwriting.

The Film & Video Department at Columbia College Chicago is the largest production-oriented film school in the USA. Students may elect to concentrate in Animation, Alternative Forms, Audio, Cinematography, Critical Studies, Directing, Documentary, Editing, Producing or Screenwriting. The department is the only film school to have a permanantly located presence on a studio lot in Los Angeles. In addition, the department offers an MFA in Film & Video.
